I'm so glad you're here :) below you'll find a bit about me and my story. the best way to connect with me is through my Instagram and YouTube channel. I'm on IG everyday except for Saturdays (we love Sabbath over here) and upload YT videos twice weekly on Tuesdays and Fridays at 5 PM EST.
I also post weekly blog posts about life, marriage, school, travel, etc. on this website on Mondays.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and have lived in Tennessee and North Carolina! my husband and I are most likely moving this summer, and while we're sad to think of leaving our community in Durham, we're so excited for this next adventure. we'll be sharing if and where we are moving to in the coming weeks!!
my husband's name is Justen (yes, that's with an "e"), and he is my best friend :) we met on the dating app Hinge on New Year's Eve of 2022, dated for 6 months, and got married 6 months later on our 1 year anniversary! it was a whirlwind but the most incredible year of my life that brought so much growth for which I am eternally grateful.
he's a mathematician working in biomedical engineering, and I'm a grad student finishing up school to be a women's health nurse practitioner. we are pretty simple people who love the small joys of everyday life like a great cup of coffee and sleeping in on the weekend. we're both type A perfectionists, but he is generally a lot more chill than I am and balances me out really well ;) we spend most of our time together hanging out with friends, going on runs, cooking a good meal, watching our favorite shows and movies, and being involved in church. we're saving up to get a puppy later this year and are hoping to start having children in the next few years, Lord willing :)
I've always loved blogging and social media. in college I blogged about eating disorder recovery and my faith, and in nursing school I had an Instagram account where I shared about grad school and mental health. for the past few years, I've focused on Instagram and Youtube. I started my YouTube channel at the beginning of 2021 and have only consistently worked on it since this past fall. I absolutely LOVE filming and editing for YouTube and can't wait to see that channel continue to grow. Instagram is my more relaxed and "for fun" platform, and this website is going to be purely for fun and function as a sort of online diary or scrapbook.
at the end of the day, my passions are loving Jesus, my husband, women's health, and living life with purpose, integrity, and joy. my faith journey has taken lots of twists and turns over the years, but lately I've really been enjoying Scripture more and focusing on spiritual formation. I have heart for evangelism which to me looks like sitting down with someone over coffee (or sometimes via DM or a YouTube video), getting to know them, and sharing about what God has done in my life.
